With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eliza Spiers Couturier (Holly Hill, South Carolina), who passed away on August 17, 2021 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Richard and Eliza Read Simons Spiers; her siblings, Francis Louise Spiers, Catherine Spiers Treynor and Robert McKelvey Spiers; and her son-in-law Allan DuPree.
She is survived by: her aunt Harriotte Spiers (William Couturier); her husband Elias Francis Couturier; her daughters, Mary Elizabeth Couturier Ellis (Mack) of Lexington County and Martha McKelvey Couturier DuPree; her grandchildren, Laura Couturier Ellis of Lexington County, Rebecca Couturier DuPree Boyles (Will) of Florence, S. C. and Elias Couturier DuPree; and her great grandchildren, Kaylee of Lexington County, Alex Clark of Lexington County, Tristan Toledo of Lexington County, Adeline Couturier Boyles and Anderson Lee Boyles of Florence.
