He was predeceased by: his parents, Violet Walker Whitehead and Robert Whitehead; his sister Marian Newton; and his granddaughter Hailey Anne Streater. He is survived by: his wife Anne; his daughters, Caroline Streater (Campbell), Christina Beckmann (Daniel) and Laurie Weatherford (Joey); his stepson Frank Beutel; his grandchildren, Jamie Streater (Kalin), Jake Streater, Nicklas Beckmann, Chandler Weatherford, Alaina Weatherford, Denise Routon (Patrick) and Tamara Beutel; his great grandchild Maya Routon; and his grandchildren, River Chambers, Emery, Eliza and James Allan Streater IV. He is also survived by nieces, a nephew, and many cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hope Lutheran Church (10154 SC-6, Vance, SC 29163). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
