He is survived by: his wife Lula Young Williams; his son Evelyn Hodges (Eric); his niece Shelley Elmore; his great-niece Kimberly James (Jerrell); his brothers, Johnny Williams (Lily), Mattie "Claire" Goff, Josephine Dingle, Samuel Williams (Sarah), Lula Williams White (Joseph), Rosa Taste, Eli Young, Jr. (Mamie), Retha Bell Pringle, Herbert Young, Jr. (Ruthie Mae), James Young (Pernell), Verna Jackson (John), Barbara Ann, Nathaniel Young and Paul "Powell" Young (Joyce); his aunt Mark Williams (Mary); and also, Ezekiel Williams (Jokeliah), Tracy White, Christle Williams Walker (Phillip), D'Andrea Young Williams, Charlie Williams (Josie), Fred Williams (Lille) and Anna Williams.
