It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beatrice Cummings of Holly Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on December 25, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Martino and Zula Martino; her husband Rev. J. P. Cummings Jr.; and her siblings, Catherine Williams, Ann Hornbeak, Daniel Martino, Howard Martino and Thomas Martino.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory Cummings (Marilyn), James, Ronald Cummings, Patricia Vanderhurst (Michael) and Sharon Giles (Columbus); her grandchildren, Angel, Omar, Haymanot, Jordan, Columbus Jared Giles, Katrina Cummings, Jasmine Cummings, Audrey Townsend (Frederick) and Taralyn Drummond; her siblings, Anthony Martino, Queen Rouse and Ruby Thompson; and her sister-in-law Vernell Butler. She is also survived by great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, "adopted" children, and special caretakers.
