She was predeceased by: her parents, Allison Monroe Simmons and Willie Marguerite Watkins; her children, Melinda Faye Watkins and Bernie "Lynn" Watkins; her brothers, Allison Simmons Jr. and Kenneth Simmons; her great grandchild Allison Hall; and her son-in-law Larry Marchant.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia McLeod (Joe) of Manning, SC, Annette Marchant of Holly Hill, SC and Linda Moossa (Steve) of Winnsboro, SC; her siblings, Georgia Ann West and John Charles Simmons (Linda) of Eutawville, SC; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Watkins (Kim), Mark Thomas (Mia), Krista Walls (Mike), Christopher Thomason (Annette), Briana Hoy (Mike), Kera Watkins and Justin Watkins. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Alice's memory may be sent to Grove Park Hospice in Orangeburg.
