It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Zelma O Timms (Hodges, South Carolina), born in Greenwood, South Carolina, who passed away on October 20, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Broadus F. Timms; and her son Jay Timms. She is survived by: her children, Becky McClinton (Sam) of Greenwood, Robby Briggs of Greenwood and Mark Timms of Charleston; her sister Margaret Rogers of Greenwood; her grandchildren, Garrett McAllister of Greenwood, Haven Sherard (Tripp) of Chapin, Erica Vickery (Jacob) of Lexington, Brooks Briggs of Ninety Six and Amanda Briggs of Lexington; and her great grandchildren, Harper, Corie Sherard, Jada, Caleb and Carter Briggs.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to North Side Baptist Church, 409 Northside Drive West, Greenwood, SC 29649 or Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont, 408 W Alexander Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646.
