He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Maffett, Sr. and Lois Quattlebaum Maffett; and his brother Curt Maffett. He is survived by: his significant other Cathy Wooten Maffett; his children, Tom Maffett (Jessica) and Catie Maffett Young (Mike); his grandchildren, Ruby, Will, Cal and Sadler; his sister Judi Keith; his son-in-law Mike Young; and his sisters-in-law, Deedee Wooten Holmes and Donna Wooten Abney.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oakbrook Memorial Park Chapel (3007 US-25, Hodges, SC 29649). A reception was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
