It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Morton Moore of Hodges, South Carolina, born in Greenwood, South Carolina, who passed away on August 14, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas Morton and Mildred Syrkett Callaham; her sister Diane Syrkett Moore; her grandson Brayden Amir Moore; her nephew Kerry Rashawn Mosley; her mother-in-law Ida Ruth Moore Brooks; her brother-in-law Larry Witt; her husband Bruce L. Moore Sr. Together; her children, Bruce L. Moore Jr. (Vanda) and April M. Moore; her grandchildren, Donivan Spearman (Nicole) of Darrius Spearman, Mi, Angel Clark, Jaesha Clark, Bruce Moore III and Key'Asia Moore; her siblings, Reverend Melody C. Morton, Sandy Henderson of Ducula Georgia, Tony F. Morton and Darren K. Morton (Sirena); her siblings-in-law, Theodore Moore (Mabel), Robert Payne (Mag), James Payne, Jermaine Payne, Albert Payne, Clarence Holmes (Ruby), Sandra Lewis (Calvin), Kim Butler (Dennis) and Tammy Payne; and her godchildren, Tammy Childs, Mary Ann Lockhart, Belinda Melson (Tommy), Tamara Carroll and Ellis Belton. She was also cherished by uncles, aunts, nephews, and nieces, other relatives and friends.
