It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pat Wates (Hodges, South Carolina), born in Greenville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 9, 2018, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Harold Clayton; and her brother Noel Bronson of Charlotte, NC.. She is survived by: her spouse William "Bill" Melvin Wates; her parent Alvie Lou Eakin Saylor; her children, Cynthia Ferguson Stone, Rebecca Ferguson Lomax (Neil) and William Ferguson, Jr. (Dayle) of Mars, PA; her sister Betty Cook of Greenville, PA; her grandchildren, Janessa Gross Lyle (Josh) of Woodstock, AL, Heather Gross of Spartanburg, Clay Stone of Greenwood, Austin Baten (Catherine) of Boston, MA, Cole Ferguson of Mars, PA, Cory Ferguson of Mars, PA and Caden Ferguson of Mars, PA; and her great grandchildren, Kaleb Lyle and Hannah Lyle.
