He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mildred Lewis Upton; his parents, Woodrow Clark Upton and Grace Pittman Upton; his daughter Lerryn Upton Crocker (Joe); his brother Jerry Upton (Linda); and his grandchildren, Hayes Michael Culbertson and Virginia "Ginny" Crocker Purdee (Matthew).
