It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Theodore Templeton (Hodges, South Carolina), born in Laurens, South Carolina, who passed away on June 26, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Hazel Marie Abercrombie Templeton; his parents, Charles Matthew and Hattie Mae Patton Templeton; his sons, John David Templeton and Scott Douglas Templeton; and his sister Margaret Templeton Lashley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gail Hitchcock (Ronnie) of Abbeville, Jane Calhoun of Greenwood and Lynn Rush (Buddy) of Hodges; his daughters-in-law, Holly Templeton of Simpsonville and Kathy Templeton of Pelion; his niece Pat Lashley Collins of Chapin; and his cousin Audrey Blackwell of Laurens. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
