He was predeceased by: his parents, James McGovern and Bonnie Barrett Stodghill. He is survived by: his sons, Bobby McGovern (Steve) of Greenwood, Gregg McGovern of Greenwood, Jimmy McGovern (Tracie) of Greenwood and Barry McGovern (Katherine) of Columbia; his sister Linda Davis; and his grandchildren, Dustin, Keller, Britney, Patrick and Meg McGovern. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
