We are sad to announce that on January 9, 2025, at the age of 79, Bernice Eilene Wright Maddox of Hodges, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Charles Tony Maddox; her parents, Frank Wright and Clara Horne Wright; her children, Chuck Maddox (Olene) of Hodges, Craig Maddox of Ninety Six and Lisa Maddox Cole; her sisters, Theresa Buchsbaum (Phil) of Florida and Becky Valine (Tom) of Florida; and her grandchildren, Heath Lunsford, Hunter Cole, Bryan Maddox and Jay Wilson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the Blyth Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1425 Montague Ave, Greenwood, SC 29649). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenwood Memorial Gardens (3302 US-25, Hodges, SC 29653).
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the Shriners Children Hospital, 950 W Faris Rd, Greenville, SC 29605.
