He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bibb Cain and Marie Ellen Brooks Cain; and his wife Coline Gunn Cain. He is survived by: his children, Colin Benson Cain of Hawthorne, FL, Dr. Bibb Randall Cain (Kimberley) of Greenwood, SC, Walter McDuffie Cain (Paulo) of New York, NY, Irene Cain Simoneaux (Steve) of Atlanta, GA, Donald Gunn Cain (Lisa) of Greenville, SC. and Dr. Randy Cain. He is also survived by five nephews and four nieces.
