He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard M Boccabella and Mildred (Porter); his wife Marlene; and his son David. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Dalena of Moon Township, PA and Michael Todd Boccabella of Barrington, IL; his brother Robert Boccabella of Kelseyville, CA; and his grandchildren, Michael Dalena, Rachel Dalena, Julia Boccabella, Anthony Boccabella and Mathew Boccabella. He is also survived by several nephews and a niece.

“Richard was a bright 80 year old who quickly became one of my favorite HHICC members. Every time he entered HHICC he had his ipad and a list of questions. When I talked too fast, as I normally do, Richard would remind me to slow down so he could take notes. He shared stories of his life especially of his deceased wife whom he adored. In her honor, he said he donated all of his stock dividends to that charity's research. There is a special place in heaven for this man. Melnee Kasper”
