She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony C. Busemeyer and Helen C. Busemeyer (Heilman). She is survived by: her husband Jim Synk; her children, David Synk of Ft. Myers, Nancy Blalock (Mike) of Luther and Peter Synk (Marie) of Westwood, Massachusetts.; her grandchildren, Andrew Blalock, Sarah Synk, Gretchen Synk, Gabrielle Synk, Benjamin Blalock, Thomas Blalock and Pyper Harris; her great grandchildren, Roman Blalock, Aurora Blalock and Maeve Harris; her siblings, Richard Busemeyer, Helen Keith, Grace Vogelsang, Carolyn Daniels, Joan Halstead, Francis Muldowney, Marge Farquis, Al Busemeyer and Jim Busemeyer; and her child Maedie.
The family has requested that donations be made to the Hospice of the Lowcountry in lieu of flowers.
