Donna McGowan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna McGowan of Hilton Head, South Carolina, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on June 24, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, C. Ward Kirkham and Hannah E. Kirkham; her husband Martin V. McGowan; her sister JoAnn; her brother-in-law Raymond Lavery; her brother Ward Kirkham; her brother-in-law Kenneth Reilly; her aunt Rosella; and her uncle Bernard Goeing.
She is survived by: her children, Lawrence McGowan (Karen) of Cambridge, MD, Terrence McGowan of Harrisburg, Kevin McGowan of Cape Coral, FL, Janet Bryant (Grady) of Hilton Head, SC, Diane Allman (Todd) of Cranberry Township, PA, Daniel of Bedford, PA, Jill Ciccone of Vienna, VA and Carrie McGowan of Herndon, VA.; her grandchildren, Kaitlin, Maureen, Benjamin, Megan, Claire, Andrew, Maddison, John, Adam, Marielle, Maximilian, Todd (Lindsey), Jill (Larry) and Kayla; and her sisters, Nancy Reilly and Mary Ellen Albano (James). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, a private Catholic Mass and burial will be held for immediate family.
