It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lee Nelson (Hilton Head, South Carolina), born in Minot, North Dakota, who passed away on June 29, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Lind Nelson and Edna Margereta Erickson Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Janine Renaud Nelson; his daughter Lynn Nelson (Torben Nielsen); his grandsons, Esben and Anders; his son Eric Nelson; his granddaughters, Alexandra, Lindsey and Pamela; his son Paul Nelson (Ty Dowell); his sister Linda Collins; and his niece Janice Collins (family: Leslie Collins, Karen Grady).
In lieu of flowers, if you choose, donations can be made to Volunteers in Medicine Clinic (VIM) Hilton Head Island or to the Hilton Head Regional Habitat for Humanity.
