Bruce R. Carey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bruce R. Carey of Hilton Head, South Carolina, born in Providence, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 4, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Bruce farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Bruce is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond H. Carey and Margaret Carey (Krall); and his sister Paula Carey of East Greenwich. He is survived by: his wife Anne Carey of Hilton Head; his daughters, Kelleher Gray of Weston and Daria Carey of Cumberland; his granddaughters, Emerson Gray, Cecelia Gray and Margaret Gray of Weston, Massachusetts.; and also Monsignor Carey of St. Paul's Parish. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Sebastian's Church (67 Cole Ave, Providence, RI 02906).
