With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William W. Standen of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, born in Elyria, Ohio, who passed away on November 10, 2022 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William W. Standen to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Standen and Ruth Standen; his sister Pat Geitgey; and his nephew Dr. William Geitgey. He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his sons, Scott and Craig (Helen); and his niece Pam Uihlein (Peter). He is also survived by five grandchildren, one step grandson, two great-grandchildren and one step great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to All Saints Episcopal Church, St. Jude's Research Hospital, Tunnels to Towers Foundation, and the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra.
