He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Edith Mang and Vincent J. Cook; his mother-in-law Carol Aarons (Leal); and his brother-in-law George Oellinger. He is survived by: his wife Susan (Aarons); his sisters, Patricia Oellinger of Milford, OH and Donna Sullam of Dix Hills, NY.; his daughter Debra Maraspin (Paul); his grandchildren, Christine, Taylor and Nicholas; his daughter Kimberly Hart; his grandsons, Robert Morrison (Elizabeth), Bret and Danny; his sons, Jason Cook (Crystal) and Tyler Cook (Jacqueline); his grandchildren, Giovanna, Vincent and Natalia; his son Dustin Cook (Olivia); his grandchildren, Chayse, Rylie, Jayden, Sawyer and Brody; his daughter Carrie Cook; his grandchildren, Richard, Reagan and Remington; his great grandchild Robert Brendan Morrison; his sister-in-law Tina Aarons; and his parents-in-law, Joel and Mary Aarons. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
