He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul J. Scanlin and Claire Scanlin (Kernan); and his brothers, Paul "Jack" Scanlin and David Scanlin. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy (Pamelia); his children, Timothy Scanlin Jr. of Brooklyn, NY, Sean Scanlin (Daniela) of Dallas, TX and Jennifer Scanlin of Hilton Head; his grandson Jack Christopher Scanlin (Sean); his siblings, Ann Pryslopski, Robert and Eugene Scanlin; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Therese Donahue and Anthony Pamelia. He is also survived by twenty nieces and nephews.
