She was predeceased by: her brother Tom Vassar; and her son-in-law Keith Dabrowski. She is survived by: her son Jeff; her grandchildren, Fred, John, Sebastian, Rachel and Courtney; her husband Larry Proto; her brothers, Michael and John Vassar; and her stepchildren, Eric (family: Susan, Rachel, Courtney Smith), Lori Dabrowski and Lisa (family: Jason Cabrera, Sebastian).
