It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sondra Ann Ammeen of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, born in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 4, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Isman Mariotti (Easy) and Ursuline Mariotti (Sue); and her sister Vida MacMurdo Sweeney. She is survived by: her husband Paul Ammeen; her children, Jill Phillips (Tim), Kelly Lambert (Jon), Tray Vedock (Lisa), Tod Vedock (Amy Dunn-Ruiz) and Charles Ammeen (Tara); and her grandchildren, Nick Phillips (Lane), Tony Phillips, Audrey, Jack Lambert, Claire, Grace, Sophia, Olivia Vedock, Giana, Isha Vedock, Bridget, Margaret, Cecelia and Charlotte Ammeen.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
