It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Salvo P. Basirico (Hilton Head Island, South Carolina), who passed away on November 23, 2019, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Antonino Basirico and Margherita Basirico; his children, Joan (Daniel), Barbara (Robert) and Richard (Karen); and his wife Cora. He was also cherished by 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Sal requested donations to be made to Coach Basirico's Scholarship Fund, c/o Hilton Head Preparatory School or The Hilton Head Humane Association.
