He was predeceased by: his wife Bette Lipman. He is survived by: his children, Judith Gimbel (Joseph) and David Lipman (Jane); his grandchildren, Carol, Robyn, Marc Gimbel, Jennifer, Lauren and Daniel Lipman; and his great grandchildren, Beatrice, Emerson Gimbel and Connor Lipman.

Donations may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, Young Artist Performances, Inc. or Congregation Beth Yam Music Fund.
