It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Alan Murray Sr. of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, born in Jesup, Georgia, who passed away on January 4, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Janet Sallette Murray; his children, April Murray Gray (Billy) and Richard Jr.; his sister Althea Murray Yates; his grandsons, Bodie Alan Fisher and Jesse Arden Gray; and his stepgrandchildren, Dylan Yarborough, Gabby Gray and Will Gray. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hilton Head Presbyterian Church/Missions.
