It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph A. DeMatteo of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on February 8, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen DeMatteo and Marriane DeMatteo; and his brothers, Anthony DeMatteo and Stephen DeMatteo, Jr. (Butchie). He is survived by: his wife Donna Cafiero-Esposito (Cookie); his children, Ralph DeMatteo, Jr. (Janet) of East Haven, CT, Richard DeMatteo and Tiffany Petrone (Anthony) of Bluffton, SC; his grandchildren, Sabrina DeMatteo, Dominic Petrone and Stella Petrone; and his siblings, William DeMatteo (Bill) of Guilford, CT, Patricia Georges, Mariann Nenninger of Meriden, CT and Elaine Luther (David) of Hamden, CT..
