He was predeceased by: his parents, George Weisser and Isabelle Weisser. He is survived by: his wife Maxine Beitel of Bluffton, SC; his stepdaughter Julia Beitel of San Francisco; and his brother-in-law Jeffrey Gruttz (Alberta) of Calgary.
