She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Alton Conrad and Dorothy Roberts Conrad of Lexington, NC.; and her husband Robert "Bob" Sherrill Gayle. She is survived by: her children, Scott Gayle (Cassandra), Martha L. Gayle, Bruce Gayle (Leslie) and David Gayle (Carrie); and her grandchildren, Ashleigh Welder (Eric), Cameron Gayle (Katherine), Davis Hutchens (Jennifer), Paul Hutchens, Ryan Gayle, Madison Gayle, Samantha Miner (Robert) and Lauren Gayle.
