She was predeceased by: her son John David; and her father Horace Whyte. She is survived by: her husband J. Howard Edington; her daughters, Meg Sefton and Beth Hewitt; her grandchildren, Hunter, Penn and Sarah Beth; and her brothers, Frank, Bob, Bill and David. She is also survived by 4 brothers.
