She was predeceased by: her husband Dominic "John" Valesano; and her parents, Alletta Nelson and Oscar Nelson. She is survived by: her brother Oscar Nelson (Ruth); her children, Dr. John Valesano (Laurie), Julie Valesano, Kathy Holley (Ernest) and Valerie Porter (Donald); and her grandchildren, Anthony, Natalie, Casey, Andrew, Ryan, Alletta, Kira and Jeremy.
