She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Addie and James Monroe Brown; and her sisters, Judy Zimmerman, Patsy Whiteside and Sherrie Comes.

She is survived by: her husband Dennis Stanley Peacock; her daughters, Traci Dawn Sincore and Tiffany Vasilik Dunn; her sons-in-law, Michael Daniel Sincore and Murray Alexander Dunn; her stepdaughters, Caroline Peacock and Sarah Bladen (Barry Bladen); and her grandchildren, Stephanie Schuyler Carneal, George Alexander Carneal, Brooke Goodspeed Carneal, Addison Rowen Dunn, Amelie Lily Sidney Dunn, Connor Dalton O'Brien, Tyler Mathew O'Brien and Dylan Alan Bladen. She is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.

A former pageant queen and accomplished systems analyst who worked her way to executive status at the National Science Foundation, Rowena was a unique combination of intelligence and beauty.
