She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dea and Alice; and her brother John (Sue). She is survived by: her husband Douglas; her children, Paul, Jennifer, Mark (Kim) and Mary Kay (Aldo); her brother Mike (Diane); and her grandchildren, Lyon, Rachel, Kathleen, Luke, Mark, Matteo, Alice, Sophia, Douglas, Tyler and Jacqueline. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and countless loving friends.
In lieu of flowers, the Messier family is accepting donations in Mary Jean's honor through The Mark Messier Foundation, http://www.markmessierfoundation.org. Donations will be directed in support of families with loved ones afflicted with Alzheimer's disease.
