He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ignazio Benfante and Giulia Audino; his brother Joseph; his wife Laurette Doscher; his children, Tracy Paris (Mike), Dennis Benfante (Tina) and Adam Benfante; and his grandchildren, Ava, Grace Parisi, Joseph, Joshua, Dominic, Orlando and Juliana Benfante.
