It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lidie Peery of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, born in Byhalia, Mississippi, who passed away on March 21, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Briggs Jones and Mary Howard Jones; and her sister Erin Jones. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Anne Peery (Humphries) of Beaufort, SC, Robert Briggs Peery (Reta) of Atlanta, GA and Lidie; her husband Charles Robert Peery (Bob); her brother Briggs Howard Jones (Betty); her grandchildren, Hayley Humphries Roberts (Ross) of New Orleans, LA, Charlie Lewry Humphries of Melbourne, FL, Briggs Cooper Peery (Lucero) of New York City, NY and Eleanor Jordan Peery of Brooklyn, NY; and her great grandchildren, Hill Gregory Roberts and Lidie Faye Roberts of New Orleans, LA..
