With solemn reverence, we commemorate Lauretta Anderson of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, whose life came to an end on February 27, 2025 at the age of 98, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, August Beck and Ruth Beck. She is survived by: her children, Karen Bachmann and Keith Bachmann; her daughter-in-law Tracy Bachmann; her grandchildren, Tayler and William Bachmann; her great grandchild Ausyn Lacks; her sisters, Esther Harold, Violet Canty and Elsie Lewis; her former husband William Bachmann; her husband Keith Anderson; and her son William Bachmann.

Lauretta was a strong believer in helping others therefore, in lieu of flowers, please donate to a local food bank or to St. Francis By The Sea, 45 Beach City Road, Hilton Head Island, SC 29926.

“Lauretta Anderson was always 'Aunt Lauretta' to my Brother Gene, sister Pam, and I. She was my mom's best friend and it seems like they always had a good time together. They passed through many phases of life together, raising children, going back to work, having grandchildren to love, and burying their husbands. In retirement when Loretta moved to Hilton Head, Loretta and Helen visited each other often and Karen started having holidays with the Harmon family. We will miss Lauretta a lot.”
