He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Gabler and Marie Gabler (Langer); and his former wife Hildegard. He is survived by: his wife Hiltrud; his daughter Ursula (Shane); and his grandchildren, Tina (Jon) and Cody (Nicole). He is also survived by six great grandchildren; and, in Germany, a sister-in-law, niece and nephew.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to either Friends of Caroline Hospice, Ridgeland, or the American Red Cross.
