He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Patrick and Virginia Fletcher (Hardy); and his wife Frances Chalmers. He is survived by: his children, Joseph III (Cheryl) of Marietta, GA, Marie (Tim) of Charleston, SC and Edward (Tonia) of Big Flats, NY.; and his grandchildren, Erin, Spencer Taylor (Marie), Nicholas, Jessica (Edward), Joseph and Patrick (Joseph).
