It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Dunston Waddy II (Hilton Head Island, South Carolina), born in West Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on May 25, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Agnes Breen and John Dunston Waddy; his wife Elsie Harpe Waddy; his children, Sarah Waddy Brooks (Todd), John D. Waddy III of Atlanta and Britt Heffernan (Jill) of Madison, Alabama.; his grandchildren, Archer, Susan Brooks, Kate Waddy, Avery, Emory and Hope Heffernan; and his sister Elizabeth W. Dillon (Rick) of West Hartford. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
