We are sad to announce that on June 29, 2024, at the age of 83, James Stanley Holtaway of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, born in Elizabeth, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Stanislaus Holtaway and Veronica Ender Holtaway. He is survived by: his wife Deneith Wilson Holtaway; his children, Leslie Holtaway of Fairfax, VA, Stephanie Joos of Austin, TX and Jonathan Holtaway of Vienna, VA; his children-in-law, Don Joos and Tara Holtaway; and his brothers, Tom Holtaway of Rio Rancho, NM and John Holtaway of Geneva, IL..
