He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lawrence "Larry" Fitzgerald and Barbara Alice Fitzgerald (Harlor); his sister Ann Hackett; his father-in-law John Horstmeyer; and his niece Devon Fitzgerald.
He is survived by: his children, Nicole Fitzgerald, Ryan Fitzgerald and Emily LaTour (Fitzgerald); his wife Lisa Fitzgerald (Horstmeyer); his siblings, Mary Lou Quinn, Dan Fitzgerald, John Fitzgerald and Katherine "Kay" Dowds; his siblings-in-law, Becky Fitzgerald, Nita Fitzgerald, Miriam Boelyn-Fitzgerald, Marya Horstmeyer, Laura Lyle, Thomas Hackett, Patrick Quinn, Michael Dowds, Dave Horstmeyer and Rick Lyle; his mother-in-law Linda Pearson; his close friend John "Pruts" Prutsman (Sigma Phi Epsilon); his pet Charlie; and his brother Patrick Boleyn-Fitzgerald. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
