She was predeceased by: her grandson James Rankin; her parents, Catherine Sheehan and Michael Sheehan; her husband Joseph Corcoran of Brooklyn; and her sisters, Margaret, Kathleen, Julia and Josephine.
She is survived by: her children, M. J. Corcoran Rankin and Mary Jean Corcoran.
