He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Alvin Horton and Ruby Watkins Horton; his former wives, Alta Ragsdale Horton and Dorothy Frazier Horton; and his half-brothers, George Dayton Curtis and Gerald William Curtis.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his sons, Grady Michael Horton (Sara) and Kenneth Alton Horton (Suki); his stepchildren, Keith Edward James (Lynne) and Tracy James Rossi (Edward); and his grandchildren, Joshua, Samantha (Joe), Emily, Anthony, Tyler, Kyle, Eric, Claire and Hanna.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Grady's name to Hospice Care of the LowCountry (P.O. Box 3827, Bluffton, SC 29910) in recognition of their fantastic service over the last three months or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital (501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105).
