He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Carmody and Rosemary Carmody (Brown); and his brother Warren. He is survived by: his brother Jack; his daughters, Patricia and Regina; his wife Alice Regina (Curran); his children, Nancy, Martin, Tom, Kathleen and Susan; his children-in-law, Joanne Carmody, Rick Prange and Greg Holcomb; his grandchildren, Bridget, Justin, Jeremy, Alex, Caitlin, Lindsay, Carrie, Michael, Cole, Maxwell and Jack; his great grandchildren, Liam, Claire and Charlotte; and his friend Marge Simpson.
A private service will be held in his memory, and the George A. Carmody Memorial fund has been established with Save A Warrior in support of veterans.
