He was predeceased by: his son Mark; his parents, F. Farrington Holt and Dorothy Holt; his sisters, Jane Manikoff and Caroline Kelsey; his niece Dorothy Kelsey; and his nephew John Manikoff.
He is survived by: his significant other Fran Picard Holt; his son Rick Holt (Kathy); his grandchildren, Mark, Kate and Meagan; his nieces, Sara Kelsey, Olga Hard and Caroline Sheppard; and his nephew Bill Kelsey.
