He is survived by: his wife Barbara Peterson (Cain) of Hilton Head, S. C.; his daughter Lynn Ellen Peterson of Bluffton, S. C.; and his sisters, Ann Herrin and Mary Helen McKearn. He is also survived by two grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
