It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth McManus Harkins of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, born in Cheraw, South Carolina, who passed away on July 12, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donovan McManus and Lela Beaver McManus; her brother William D. McManus, Sr. (Susan); and her brother-in-law William S. Minter II. She is survived by: her sister Beverly McManus Minter of Columbia, SC; her nieces and nephews, Aubrey David McManus (Susan) of Fuquay Varina, NC, William S Minter III, Hilton, Susan McManus Rush (Scott) of Randleman, NC and Susan N. Deeb (Robert); her great-niece Lauren Susan McManus of Cary, NC; and her great-nephews, Bryan Donovan McManus of Greenville, SC, Mark Howell (Morey) of Charlotte, NC, William S Minter IV of Charleston, SC, John R. Minter and Dylan R. Deeb.
Due to the social distancing surrounding the COVID-19 Pandemic, a private burial will be held at Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens in Cheraw with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tidewater Hospice of Hilton Head Island, SC.
