She was predeceased by: her parents, James Francis Turner and Iris Emory Turner; her husband Joe Darrell Horne; her children, Darrell Horne and Sandra Broce; and her siblings, Ruby Strong, James Robert "Jim" Turner, John Turner, Vera Edge and Sara Hughey.
She is survived by: her sons, Douglas Horne (Amy) and Marshall Horne (Cindy); and her sisters, Mary Louise "Tiny" Gaines (Ted), Elaine Leonard and Barbara Cathcart (John). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
