Edward Barton Parrish Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Barton Parrish in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, who passed away on January 11, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Mae (Verhines) and LaFayette Parrish, Jr.; his daughters, Amy L Kirby (Chris) and Julia K Parrish (Bruce Dahlstrom); his stepchildren, Adam R Creed (Maggie) and Rebecca K Hawver (Hunter); his grandsons, Tate and Creed; and his brother William R Parrish (Loretta).
He is survived by: his wife Susan R (Magargee). He is also survived by friends; was proud of his children, stepchildren and grandchildren; learned to adore cats.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra, the First Presbyterian Church of HHI, or Volunteers in Medicine Clinic Hilton Head, in memory of Ed Parrish.
